The Indian Mat.com: strongly suggest to seek for suitable/ideal marriage alliances for your children among your own relatives, friends and colleagues’ families. Ensure there is some personal link with the families of the bride or bridegroom with your well-known persons/families. Never be greedy, over ambitious or pseudo prestigious. If you don't have such environment, then only you try to register for matches in online or offline matrimonial bureaus including The Indian Mat.com. 

Never give or transfer money to bride or bridegroom in any circumstances, never surrender to emotional blackmail or urgent needy claims before marriage.

The Indian Mat.com: We strongly suggest not to meet strangers (bride or bridegroom or families) at their residence or their personal places for matrimonial discussions. Meet at public places, worship places like temples etc.

As many observed, some bride and bridegroom parties, express their interest to many and wishes to meet in star hotels or at lavish meeting places for discussions, like wise daily or at weekends etc., by bluffing others. Simply wasting money spent on such lavish lunch, dinner, logistics, travel expenses, time and much more loss and may lead to depression to other party. To avoid this grave and embarrassing situations, we planned to arrange common meeting place (get-together) for the interested, in a function hall, to facilitate bride and bridegrooms & families to interact personally. Presently we arrange this facility at Tirupati-517501 only  on every  2nd Sunday from 8.00 AM to 8.00 PM. The nominal fee will be levied. About this get-together schedule, time, date and venue.

The Indian Mat: Members are expected to be cautious of prospects who ask for favours, money etc or call from multiple phone numbers, only interact over phone, doesn't come forward for face to face meeting (physically or through video calls) and don’t involve family and friends in match making. Beware of suspended profiles status before you finalize an alliance with the prospect.
